Most political campaigns go around asking for special interest groups or political activists to endorse them. Ya’ll know I got rejected by the interest groups for not wanting to bend government to give their businesses an advantage, or for being unwilling to protect crooked cops with qualified immunity and keep civil asset forfeiture as a stream of revenue for unscrupulous sheriffs.
The political establishment is all afraid endorsing a Libertarian will get them kicked out of their red/blue team locker rooms. Integrity and straight talk never has been the forte of political folk. A few of them have whispered to me that they’re voting for me, so I guess that’s something.
In any case, here are some voices “of the people” since that’s what our government is supposed to be anyway. We’ll call these “endorsements” but it’s a lot of “atta girl!” and the overall sentiment we’ve been hearing from everyone has been, “we’re ready for something different.”
